Agent 86
Hey guys, I went to their webpage forum and docs but didnt find out what I needed/wanted to know. I would like to know: If Axcrypt v1.x can encrypt an entire FOLDER? (v2.x can but from what I read v2 needs internet access at least once or will not run with all capabilities) boo on you Axcrypt! Where can I download the last version 1.x of Axcrypt? tia
nanana1
Axcrypt 1.x can only encrypt files and the last version can be found here : http://www.axantum.com/AxCrypt/Downloads.aspx
46&2
AC v1x will encrypt an entire folder kinda, all the files in the folder will be encrypted but not the actual folder, also no files in subfolders (if any) will be encrypted either. I would not migrate to v2.x AC tho as it IMO is a "bloated fish" and I dunno what the authors were thinking(go read on their forums) alotta pissed of users who are staying with v1 or going back to it. Make sure to use a random 22+ character pw or a key file :coolwink:
