anuraag
qBittorrent is a multi-platform Bittorrent client developed in C++/Qt4. The qBittorrent project aims to provide a Free Software alternative to µtorrent. Its main features are its integrated search engine (allows searching for torrent from the main torrent Web sites simultaneously in a transparent fashion), its support for l'UPnP/NAT-PMP, Bittorrent protocol encryption (Azureus-compatible), Peer Exchange (PeX) compatible with µTorrent, IP filtering (eMule-like "ipfilter.dat" or PeerGuardian filters), Torrents (and the files they contain) prioritizing, remote control through a secure Web User Interface. Thanks to ARMOUR for the update.Download
Purple Trail
qBittorrent v3.3.12 WINDOWS: The 64-bit installer uses the correct "Program Files" now. Detection will not work if you install on top of previous installer. Author demanding money from everyone to make portable version. He's one of the worst developers I have ever encountered. I would've gladly donated to his cause if he made native portable but when he demanded it I gave up. I still have the portable apps version, but it sucks even with manual magnet assoc hack. I went back to uTorrent 2.2.1 which is my favorite torrent client of all time (although it has a few bugs too)

I have the same build. it's literally perfect in every way i want. there's just a few bugs here and there. there's def. an unresolved !ut file association bug with a LARGE amount of files torrent, but I can quite frankly live with it. rather have portable decent software than deal with qbittorent's shit developer

The uTorrent bug happens when you download a LARGE amount of files (thousands - like emulation ROMS). I use !ut to see quickly by looking at the directory which file actually finished 100%. If it's not !ut one cannot tell until the torrent is finished. For example, sometimes certain files in the torrent are done (but the torrent overall is still going) and you can see that because the !ut label is gone. How is !ut taking resource? I am genuinely curious. We agree on developer. He is a dick and it's not the only example. If you want another classic example of what an asshole he is see here: https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/issues/5503 Just curious - do you use preallocate files? I do to make sure I have enough disk space. what do you think
