Administrator DKT27 Posted April 5, 2017 Administrator Share Posted April 5, 2017 Our testing reveal otherwise, we have found no such thing in the fix. If you have more information then do let us know, we will look into it further. Having said, a newer version is available and we will look into it. tigertje
Don`t panic, i use this tool for years. It's true that some antivirus scanners, it looks like a virus / trojan but in reality it is only a small part true. They use a piece of code to generate a serial number, and just that part is seen sgevaarlijk by scanners. Good scanners also zoekken through and then see that it is not a virus or trojan.https://www.virustotal.com/nl/file/827e17a6d639ef55eb6036b09bc0d4f0962d22111cfcbb58d4d5030b91a43c60/analysis/
spudboy
Absolutely a false positive. It only sets off alerts because it's a hacktool/keygen.

Kalju
Its use is not mandatory, nor is it necessary for anyone. Nothing so strange thing I have not yet heard in my life - KeyLogger. This is just a brilliant discovery.
jalaffa
I recall a scene group pulling their release because being a copy of the FFF release.

Administrator DKT27 Posted April 11, 2017 Administrator Share Posted April 11, 2017 We have updated the fix on FP. This fix comes from good sources and even if any AVs say anything about it, they are false positive. Here is what the text file of fix says: Quote On some antivirus scans, FFF releases packages can reveal "Type_Win32" or "Trojan_Type" virus... Don't be stupid! It is not a virus nor anything else like that. It is just some packers/cryptors which have the same binary signature. Does good in explaining it. SnakeMasteR
A keylogger is out looking for key inputs and steal information, sending gathered info to a C&C server. Do you even know what that is and means? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keystroke_logging When a keylogger operates, almost all your input (and it really doesn't matter where you input shit) becomes sooooooooooooooooooo slooooooooooooooooooooooooooow, you might think you drank Cool Aid and stuff, really, FFF is a honest and respected WEB group releasing for longer than scene groups have been in public eye... They attempt to protect their work using encryption and other /(public) DRM that might be used often from virus or malware authors too but that's all there is to it.
