Elvis and The Aliens: Separated at Birth!

Warning: Believing in conspiracy theories might be dangerous for your mental health

Conspiracy theories have swirled around Elvis Presley since long before his death. But I was “surprised” to learn recently that there are a lot of connections between Elvis Presley and aliens. Not only was Presley obsessed with UFOs, it seems like UFOs may have been obsessed with Presley.

Long gone are the days of National Enquirer shock stories (we have the celeb-crazed internet bloggers for that), but learning that Elvis Presley had a thing for little green men makes us miss those fake ten page editorials with mass eye-witness accounts and pics of Presley’s alien love-child. Elvis Presley may have had a “suspicious mind” but his childhood UFO sightings were “always on his mind.”

Arguably, one of the favorite scenes from the 1997 film Men in Black involved Tommy Lee Jones popping an Elvis Presley eight-track cassette into the dash of a high-tech alien-mod vehicle he and Will Smith are blazing along in. When Smith chides him about whether he knows Elvis is dead, Jones’ character merely replies, “he’s not dead, he just went home.”

Fast forward to the present. Whether or not Elvis died, was abducted by aliens, or as Tommy Lee Jones suggested, was an alien himself, it seems that Elvis sightings still occur to this day. What is without question, however, is the fact that the King of Rock n’ Roll did in fact have an interest in whether we were visited by brothers from another space-mother.

Aliens at Elvis Presley's Birth

According to Michael C. Luckman, author of the recent book Alien Rock: The Rock 'N' Roll Extraterrestrial Connection, people spotted a "strange, unidentified blue light" that hovered in the sky over the home where Presley was born in Tupelo, MS. The light was reported by both Presley's father Vernon, and the doctor who delivered baby Elvis. He used to tell, he’d gone out to have a cigarette at 2am during the delivery and when he looked up into the skies above their little shack, he saw the strangest blue light. He knew right then and there that something special was happening.

Just a question, brother: could you confess us what was you really smoking when you saw that blue light?

Anyway, the story was corroborated by the man who served as Elvis' hairstylist and mentor for twelve years. Larry Geller told AOL News that in the 1960s, Vernon Presley told him about the mysterious blue light.

Well, an alien might have been the godfather of Elvis!

Elvis Presley's Dead Twin

Many people don't know that Elvis Presley was an identical twin. His twin brother was delivered 35 minutes before Elvis, stillborn. Although Elvis is considered an only child, he kept his deceased twin in his mind, mentioning him occasionally.

The loss of his brother may be one of the factors which kept Elvis interested in the paranormal. Over the course of his life, Presley amassed a sizeable collection of books on the paranormal, occult, spiritualism, and UFOs. The collection bothered Presley's manager Colonel Tom, who at one point suggested that they burn all the books in a bonfire. (Elvis refused.)

Now, who can assure us that actually that surviving twin was Elvis? Maybe it was his brother and little Elvis died, sillborn?

Elvis, Age 8: Contacted By Telepathic Aliens

Elvis has claimed that when he was eight years old, he was telepathically contacted by two alien beings who showed him his future. Reportedly, the aliens showed Elvis an image of "a man in a white jumpsuit singing to a crowd," but the eight year old Elvis didn't understand what it meant.

Anyway, they say that next Christmas he asked papa Vernon for gift a guitar and a white jumpsuit!

Elvis Presley's UFO Sightings As An Adult

We turn back to Larry Geller, who was with Elvis for two UFO sightings. Once, as they drove through the desert in the middle of the night, they spotted lights circling in the skies.

In the second incident, Geller and Presley spotted UFOs near Graceland. They were walking through the estate one night when they spotted "odd lights in a field moving back and forth."

So…?

Well, if all this is true, I guess Elvis Presley wouldn’t be offended that for the 40 years since his death people have speculated that he is a.) still alive somewhere near Area 51 or b.) abducted by aliens or who knows, c.) he might be a shaman in New Mexico. The way Geller describes Presley all the above might be true.

Elvis was a deeply spiritual person and was very interested in the metaphysical. He had an eclectic outlook on things. Although he never had any major alien experiences, he was certainly a believer. He had his feet on the ground, but his head in the heavens.

Still don’t believe Elvis had an extraterrestrial entourage?  That would make Elvis sad. He would just croon sadly:

Why can’t you see

What you’re doing to me

When you don’t believe a word I say?

Do you really want to make the King sad?
