cFosSpeed is a network driver, which attaches itself to existing Internet connections. It then optimizes data transfer by means of Traffic Shaping. Traffic Shaping is a method for optimizing the Internet traffic. It allows maximum speed while ensuring minimal Ping. You can use cFosSpeed with a router and/or a DSL-modem or cable-modem. You can also use cFosSpeed with other types of Internet access, ie. whenever you already have an existing Internet connection. cFosSpeed supports a wide variety of connections, like DSL, cable, ISDN, UMTS, etc.

Thanks to SalaR for the update.

I see people talking about this app. Does it really work? Can we get some real-life honest opinions?

It does. But you must look closely on what traffic shapping is: 'cause it's what app "cures"... There are videos on its website explaining all...

In my case when I compared the results , the Windows default network stack settings was already fine, also my Intel Ethernet network adapter has good driver.

I was previously using the trial reset. Upon copying the exe to the correct folder, it doesn't seem to be working. It's not loading the speed indicator. It is however, showing in the system tray.
