Sonar
1. Type about:config into the address bar of a new tab (Ctrl + T). This will bring up the configuration variables for Firefox.2. Right click anywhere in the list of preferences and click New -> Integer.3. For the preference name type "browser.cache.memory.capacity" (without the quotes).4. For the value type the number of bytes to make the memory cache. I use 16384 (16MB) - this should be roughly proportional to the amount of RAM you have. Anything between 8MB and 64MB (for loads of caching) is acceptable. Obviously the lower this value the less RAM Firefox will use.5. Create another (boolean) preference called "browser.cache.memory.enable". Toggle it to "True" (Right click -> Toggle).-I'm unsure if this will actually help I pulled the info from else ware but I'm sure ill get the answer I'm looking for soon :)I checked the browser.cache.memory.capacity and mine is set to -1 and already enabled. HX1
So is this supposed to increase a value in my already existing settings, add a setting which is not already there, and will this speed up loading of cached pages? The tweak is there but what it does exactly is a little unclear..Is this proper for version 3.5.2?
