NIS NetBook Edition, doesnt allow anyone to create the Norton Account in-app, it opens the web browser to do so.

Long story short, we are unable to create any norton accounts using NIS Netbook Edition.

 

This version of NIS is just useful as having an outdated AV with daily virus def updates. Remember its a 8-year old AV (released in 2009), hence latest OS versions such as Win10 are incompatible with it. Just a heads up.
