Bizarre™
ThreatFire is unlike traditional antivirus products that rely on old fashioned "signature" technology and require updating every time a new threat occurs. ThreatFire's patent-pending ActiveDefense technology provides powerful protection against zero-day and emerging threats. It constantly monitors for both known and unknown viruses, worms, trojans, rootkits, buffer overflows, spyware, adware and other malware. It uses behavioral analysis to hunt down and paralyze threats that are too new or too clever to be recognized by traditional "signature-based" antivirus software. ThreatFire is the perfect complement to traditional antivirus programs.Download
LeetPirate
Pro Version No Longer Available-- ThreatFire now only offers one version which is still completely free for personal use. Woohoo! That and Win7 support, I am going to try it out. Ok I just installed this and it seems as though they lied. On their forum they clearly said there is no Pro version anymore as of v4.6 but I opened the window and it says "free edition" "click here to upgrade". Maybe I am missing the concept of a single version or something.Another thing is during its new system check prior to installing, it tells me boldly that my spyware protection is in order and windows defender is up and running, sadly in reality defender is turned off and the service wasn't even started. Given that its beta, I will look forward to the final version.
