vkarthik
Mozilla Firefox is without doubt the web browser that gives the most control to users in regards to privacy and security. Firefox users find some of those options listed in the graphical user interface, but full control over the browser is only granted if changes are made to the browser's configuration. final version 0.11 compatible with firefox 51 http://www.ghacks.net/2015/08/18/a-comprehensive-list-of-firefox-privacy-and-security-settings/

It is 3 months old and hasn't kept up with the development of firefox. And if you read the fine print it says Quote Works with Firefox for Android 29.0 - * , Firefox 29.0 and later So it may work with many versions but I would rather use something that says it is designed to work with Firefox 51.0.1. There have been a lot of changes since version 29 and this utility may not address those or may not address them properly. It could even create vulnerabilities by adding something that was removed from Firefox. That is why I use only a couple addons in any of my browsers. I have tested a lot of them but the only ones I recommend are uBlock Origin, Disconnect, and Morning Coffee. Two security addons and a convenience add on that opens multiple sites that I want to read with my coffee. And I always tell people, I like Chrome, but only on motorcycles and cars. Kalju
It is not enough, if there is written "it is designed to work with Firefox 51.0.1", there must be also "it is designed to work with me".
steven36
i dont use that addon myself i tested it before though.. also if you are really paranoid there is Firefox hardening use at you're own risk but it breaks a lot of stuff when i tested it best too not use for a production browser I have certain way i want my browser to work if you do too much it will defeat it's usefulness. But i bookmarked the OP its good too know all this very useful.
