Eset is blocking nsanedown but not the forums; also blocking tukero and tnosuse but everything is listed the same in exclusions. What else could be wrong; other pc everything works fine and listed same.

Hello, this has been known for a long time now. You can add these to your list of allowed urls in the ESET advanced settings.

http://www.nsanedown.com/*
http://proxy.nsanedown.com/*
https://www.nsanedown.com/*
https://proxy.nsanedown.com/*

Adding these won't compromise your security since ESET retards don't actually scan websites for viruses in the first place, they just block websites based on the text in the URL which is a tragedy. You might notice that among the blocked urls you will also see that infolinks.com (the site we use for ads) is marked as malware just because somewhere in the url the text nsanedown.com is present. Goes to show you how far the ESET programmer's head is up his own ass that they would resort to cheap parlour tricks and lies instead of actually scanning websites for malware.

that's the problem they are added but some pass and some don't; same way with tukero and tnoduse; 1 works and other don't, both added to exclusions, tried your format and still can't get to nsanedown; at a loss

don't put in exclusion list, put the urls in the "list of allowed addresses" and be sure to enable the "list active" setting.

Will try that pc tomorrow but have them listed exactly as this pc and half work and half don't; I must have missed something so will double check tomorrow, thanks.

Under Web & Email > Web access protection > URL address management > Address list, add the following to List of allowed addresses and List of addresses excluded from checking:
*tukero*
*tnoduse*
*nsane*

Have that, plus several other variations and nsane forums, and tnoduse work but nsanddown and tukero don't; gonna see if I missed something today with that other pc. Building for great granddaughter to play games. thanks

Just deleted everything and put the sites I wanted in again and now all work so I must have done something wrong first time around, thanks.

Some redundancy, but please try this list:

*nsanedown.com*/*
*nsaneforums.com*
*proxy.nsanedown.com*
*tnoduse*
*tukero*
*tukero.*
*nsaneforums.com*
*nsanedown.com*
*nsanedown*
*nsaneforums*

Lol...

only put this into web exceptions:

*nsanedown*

nothing more... no need for 3-4 nsane links... just that one for this site, and all works fine.

Deletd all and relisted what I wanted and it started working again. If it stops again I'm not going to bother with it anymore since this pc is for 4yr old to play games on and pretty much nothing else, just had some of my favorites already on it, thanks.

Perhaps somebody should inform ESET that its a false positive only attributable to them based on VT results or maybe they could explain why they blacklist it!

Well they probably see it as a site that has medicines for their software, and it is hurting their business

Many did, as expected, they did not agree to it. As if we do not provide good freeware softwares on FP.

Hmm, my point was that their are plenty of other sites as you know that host ESET products in a "unapproved" fashion, however they are not blacklisted, it seems as if its almost personal.
