wi-fi connectivity issue

Recommended Posts

I am having issues with my wifi connectivity. When I try to connect the laptop to my wifi hotspot, it gets connected. Then after sometime an error message pops up saying "Network UX Broker has stopped working". It stays connected but with no internet access.

The problem is within my laptop as I have tried to connect it to different hotspot too but same issue. My drivers are up to date and so is Windows 10. I tried disabling the firewall and antivirus too, yet no luck.

I have no idea what is going wrong.

That's only one of the thousands Beta-Win10 bugs........

Glad to see I am not the only one who thinks Win 10 is nothing more than perpetual beta software.  Until they can produce a stable version it just isn't worth the time and trouble of fixing things that every update and new release breaks.  I had 1000 Windows 7 licenses and now only have 5 left that I am keeping for my own use.  I felt sorry for those that were suckered into Windows 10 and now couldn't rollback their systems and didn't have their previous system imaged so I sold most of them at my cost. I know a local computer tech who is still able to get Win 7 licenses from Microsoft and he has been 'fixing' a lot of Win 10 systems.  I still would like to see a class action lawsuit against Microsoft for all the damage Windows 10 has done.  I use to hate OS pirates, because most of the ISOs that were floating around from various hackers and groups were full of malware and a threat to any website or system they connected to, but now, if you can get a copy of Windows that you download directly from Microsoft to run without buying it more power to you.

Today I tried the troubleshooter to get a idea of the problem. After diagnosing, the troubleshooter says that the Diagnostic Service Policy is not running. So in the services I saw that the service is set to automatic but has not been started. So I tried to start the service but the following error pops up

Holly mother!

I can't perform the method 1 as the restart option is greyed out.

I have perfectly executed the method 2 though. But it is not helping too. Creepy windows 10!

I have reverted back to the factory drivers too. No sign of any improvement.

Service option restart is still grey after method 2 ???

Anyway, if you can then try a restore from some days before!

Yes, after applying method 2 no changes whatsoever. It's was like I didn't do anything at all.

I have my system restore function disabled from the beginning so no chance of doing that.

Today I am gonna format my laptop.

Thank you @Israeli_Eagle for you time and help. Have a good day.
