Windows 10 is piece of shi%!!

hey peeps,

Now let me tell this never use to happen before, i have been using PCs since Win 98, am lazy, forgetful and not a pro, but not a novice either. Since i have upgraded and its been a while, to Windows 10 a problem persists, mostly 8 out of 10 times, when ever there's a power outage (it happens here often) the Windows wont boot again, something i guess gets corrupted each time and i have to install a fresh copy of Win 10, i have probably installed Win 10 like 50 times, once twice in one day..lol..the fancy recovery, repair and reset features don't work and no my CMOS is not bad i think, i bought a new Motherboard less then a year ago.

whats up with that?

i remember the old XP times, it used to boot back up and start auto without a problem ever automatically ready to use..haha:P:P

anyone suggestions or solutions besides the one telling me to go back to 7 or 8?

Uncheck Fast Boot Up in power options and see if that cures it.

If your talking about the Self Back On option its already Off, i manually start the computer when ever there's power outage! Is Fast Boot Up another thing?

Go to power options and the click click on  Choose What the Power Button Does,, Then click on Change Settings that are Currently Available.. Then you will see that Fast Start up is Ticked, Un tick it and Save Changes. Your PC won't start up as fast but may cure your problem.

It could also be the Hard Drive loosing its Integrity if its Quite old which prevents it booting up.

One of the worst things to damage a Hard Drive is for it to be shut down suddenly and if you have had a lot of Power Outages it may have damaged Sectors on the Hard drive.  A Laptop as got a battery and you would have to shut it down.

Install a Hard drive test program and check Read/Write and Spin  Up Speed

And also the HDD is not making that weird constant sound it usually makes when its close to dying, its silent i can only hear the CPU fan.

Windows 10 isn't a piece of shit ; a computer isn't suitable for unstable electrical environment.

You need a backup power protection solution.

There has to be another way, cause the hardware is not failing only windows is! The system is good as new after fresh install.

How are your power options configurated? It seems that your PC is "sleeping" and turning your HDDs of after some idle time...

If I was in your situation I would buy a UPS (Uninterruptible power supply). Since power outage is the real problem for you I would concentrate on fixing it instead of fixing Windows. Good luck!

mate i have never used a UPS for the past 18 years i have spent on my computer, and there has never been a problem like this, its ridiculous whats happening with Windows 10 and only Windows 10 to me, and also the outages are much fewer and far between now then they were before when i was a kid!

Shut Down in Windows 10 is not shutdown as in previous versions of windows, Win 10 actually hibernates when when you click shut down ( part of fastboot ) so disableing fastboot will auctaully shutdown your computer. Your harddrive is still being powered when you shutdown in windows 10. You can see for yourself by turning off the power switch at the wall and you will hear thhe computer shut off like when you do a hard shutdown by holding ing the power switch on your computer.
