No, it isn't ready yet. When 51.0.1 stable gets re-released, android stable versions 51.0 & 51.0.1 will be released.

Since they found the geolocation issue in 51.0 for android too, they've paused the release downloads other than google play.

Version 48.0.2 was the last working and stable version, after that coming only some beta and test versions, hasn't been any stable. Their work based on the principle - we do something and let's see what comes out. As the communist planned economy in some countries....

The first one is answered by @WALLONN7.

Now, regarding slower android app is that you can do most(using about:config) of customization and settings which you do in desktop FF. It also includes more security than $h*t tracking Chromium based apps and MS browsers.

Can you do similar changes in those fast browsers?

Also, FF recommends uBlock Origin on first install/first use of addons for security purposes. Does Google Chrome/MS browsers do it bravely? I'm sure answer is "no" since they want ad-sense and ms ads and tracking to continue maliciously.

If you want FF android to be faster, please give them time since they are new to the android thing compared to Opera/ MS / Google. Hence, wait for effective implementation of servo and rust.

Or if you want a faster browser without settings to configure/customize, opt for Opera/Opera miini/......

^^ chrome is father of firefox.. firefox comes no where in front of chrome.. so leave shining chrome.

btw me not regular user of chrome..( use the portable version of it)

crap firefox even if takes decade still they wont be able to make a simple fast browser.. they use to be good browser in past but now SUCKS.. worlds slowest browser lol which eats all ur cpu.

for windows i use opera/IE and sometime firefox...

for android.. UC or my phone inbuild asus browser...

FF is installed in mobile <download frm ur thread only ;] ) but seldom i use it..as its no use ..too slow.

And if even think of using any streaming site like ytube on android FF.. then forgot it...

Ha.... Very funny first lines. Mozilla is old Netscape and Google doesn't even know what is browser at that time.

Currently, FF provide more configurations for addons installed(I'm aware of the web extensions). However, chrome has very less to do with.

Do you know that Android is more vulnerable and phishy compared to pc/mac/linux-desktop? Most Google play store apps are malicious and also have fake reviews. How could you trust ASUS browser which is a novice of browser s/w compared to giants? Fastest is never secure/safe and you can't configure those browsers too much.

Finally, it is you wish. Also, pls avoid divert the topic too much and try to be in context. Your query is related to s/w chat / mobile chat.

Well, the right to opinion and even the expression of it, we all have... I do respect this...

But I can not avoid saying you were too exaggerated in some considerations...

There is a difference between facts and our perception of them:rolleyes:
