Settings > Change PC settings > Account > Other accounts > Manage other accounts > Add an account.

You might note, however, that after Adding an Account, at the bottom of "How will this person sign in" screen, you see "Sign in without a Microsoft account (not recommended)." Click on that and Add a user Local account option magically appears.  Fill out the user name and password.

If you want to remove the old Microsoft account follow these instructions.

Once the new user account is created, login to the new account and delete the old user account.

Note: back up all the data before deleting the user account.

a)      Login to your New account.
B)      Click on the “Windows logo” and type “User Accounts”.
c)      Now, select “Settings” and then select the “User Accounts” icon.
d)     Click on “Manage another account” and then select the user account that you want to delete.
e)      Click on “delete the account”.
f)       Depending on whether you want to “Keep the files” or “delete the files” choose the appropriate option.
g)      You can delete the other accounts similarly.

Note: Once deleted, the user accounts cannot be recovered. Make sure you back up any data if required.

  1. From the Start screen, type netplwiz. The command for netplwiz, aka the User Accounts Control Panel, appears in the search results in the left pane. Click that command.
  2. In the User Accounts Control Panel, select the account you wish to use to log in automatically.
  3. Click off the check-box above the account that says "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer." Click OK.
  4. Enter your password once and then a second time to confirm it. Click OK.
  5. Restart Windows. Windows now bypasses the lock screen and the log-in screen to automatically take you to the Start screen.
  6. Change your mind? To re-enable the log-in screen, simply return to the User Accounts Control Panel using the steps above and click on the check-box for the "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer" option

Long ago I stopped entering a name/password during install of windows. Just click past it and it will boot directly to your account without requiring a password.

Why not just disable other accounts  instead of deleting them...

Lots of TWEAKING PROGRAMS out there that automated the AUTOLOG-ON PROCESS even if there are passwords on them

(ex. YAMICSOFT and those from www.thewindowsclub.com* are some... there are a lot of other suggestions in this site)

* Ultimate Windows Tweaker v 2.2, a Tweak UI for Windows 7 & Vista, Ultimate Windows Tweaker 4 for Windows 10. Ultimate Windows Tweaker 3 for Windows 8.
