There are currently 3 products of WinPatrol - WAR / PLUS / FIREWALL.

Which one is the best from all the three?

Are there any comparison charts for the 3 products to see what features are there and what not among them?

Thank you guys.

Oh I see. Actually I have Norton and MBAM, so guess just WinPatrol WAR will do. What do you think.

There's no catch mate. It is a great product and you can buy it if you want personal configuration or feel a need to support the developer, like I did. Have a look over at Wilders if you need convincing.

I have both WAR and VoodooShield but removed WAR. By the way, MBAM 3 has ransomware protection.

as previously mentioned, they're separate programs with different objectives

WinPatrol stops unwanted system changes and notifies user of any new startup entries https://www.winpatrol.com/winpatrol/

WinPatrol Firewall exposes every single program on your computer that is using the Internet.  https://www.winpatrol.com/winpatrolfirewall/

WinPatrol WAR detects Ransomware, Malware, Zero-Day Threats before they can run https://www.winpatrol.com/war/

WinPatrol is also FREEWARE, the PLUS has a couple extras http://www.winpatrol.com/compare.html

WinPatrol WAR is still in development stages (as is MalwareBytes 3.0), but has been tested on numerous Ransomware to show it works https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fymyzxNJ-g0

WinPatrol Firewall, haven't used it as WP and WAR seem to do the trick.

i have paid for WP Plus, WPWAR, MalwareBytes v2 (used v3 for a few weeks but found it a bit buggy) and Comodo IS Premium (FREEWARE) which all do regular scans or real time protection of my system. all have flagged up and have successfully removed questionable files at some point which i haven't needed to do a system re-install of Win10 since it came out and no appearance of any unusual slow downs on an 8 year old PC

all in all, its what you're comfortable using and what/ where you're willing to splash the cash
