After the start of "Glary Utilities Pro" you are in the overview window of the suite. By clicking on "Manage license" you activate your annual license of the Pro version.

Why would anyone want 1 year license if everywhere is available unlimited (so called Lifetime) licenses, besides, all these chip.de installers contain unwanted advertisements and PUP-software installers, which will be installed silently, without asking nothing from You.

So, You should be very careful using such a installers like chip.de installers, hub installers etc.

Their purpose is not to give you the software for free, but to share advertising and collect personal information.

 

And one more thing, the title says "Glary Utilities Pro 5.66 - Free for 1 year."
This is misleading, you can always upgrade and it is not mandatory to use a full year  the version 5.66. If version 5.67 or higher is available, You can upgrade to it.
