Opera portable folder maintenance

Hi nsaners,

 

i use opera everyday because it is good browser

i use portable paf

 

my problem is folder is growing fast. i check folder and find different versions

i blocked opera updates but after some day i find folders new version

 

 

someone can help find guide to keep opera portable folder free of junk?

Check the size of Opera > profile> data>  cache folder , its the only culprit I could find that occupies space which can be recovered without messing anything up !!
I would suggest you check the folder sizes inside the opera root folder and see which one of those occupies more space than they're supposed to !

you are correct : cache folder need to be eptied but i have sometimes 2 or 3 folder versions in portable folder

i need to know is there any risk if i remove the other folders versions i show in screenshot?

You can safely delete the folders for the older version installers..

Same thing with Chrome browsers..

Not only old cache files, but all cache folders may always delete, even not may delete, but must delete all content.

There may stay only files index, data_0, data_1, data_2, data_3. They may stay, but not mandatory.
