no problems and cant remove key  adguard make mistakes in 2 versions now

Works great. After purchasing it, I wouldn't surf the net without it. I use it with Norton, combined with a sandboxed browser in sandboxie, and no conflicts there.

If you browse thru the old adguard posts you will find a link where you can purchase it in rubles. That is what I did. I think it was like somewhere between 3 to 5 dollars CND for lifetime license.

  0) The host block and file replace & Copy has been completed.

  1) Close Adgard by selecting Exit from the task bar.

  2) Stop/Close Adgard iteme on task manager.

  3)Install Ver_Up/New version

When launched after installation Licence was handed over as Pro version.

Don't need close adguard taskbar, just need restart Adguard Service.

This app does not block all the stuff like it claims. Is it just me or there are others as well who agree with me? It does block some but not all of the unwanted stuff. Even then, I am compelled to use it since there is no other app to compete with this. AdMuncher which used to be great is of no use since the day it turned free.

U can use adguard assistant module to block element from a website, it's pretty easy. or u can view source the website and tinkering with the user filter (need a bit of knowledge tho). or is it another unwanted stuff you were talking about, if so, give example.

I bought it over a year ago, for testing, and i went back to my free squidnt and blocklist (with SSL filtering) plus ublock for things my blocklist (like element blocking) dont catch

 

Despite having a squidnt + blocklists + ublock it easily beats AdGuard, and incidentally much quicker rendering pages

 

They offered me a discount to renew, and i felt like telling them theyd have to pay me to use it....slow and ineffectual over what i used before, and again since

i have tested much programs like this and i can say not one program do like adguard  its the best program i think

the problem is this change and can update filters again u want with no proxy

@knowledge.... thanks for the latest ad...  got it working but not using host blocking and only applying your fontcache key and the adguard.db ( thanks to hamanokaito)...   will test it further if adguard.db can be eliminated.

 

updates are A-ok... can do updates without blacklisting your favorite key. Using few modifications  but not host blocking. Will test  for other BL premium keys if it can be accepted.

 

PM you once i get to fully confirmed this if other keys can be re-animated back.

sure no problems but i think its best to host block  as on someupdates adguard team can blacklist u with keys if u not hostblock

i have about 10 older keys from version 5  now with host block all older keys can work fine again  i have not tested with just adguard.db 

but ill play with this program again soon

thanks mate.....  will also look into this ...so far, the key is working ....   hmm so adguardnetreg.dll ...  will report to you back later for the results.

 

@knowledge....   your key is holding quite well.   i think  you need the adguard.db ( thanks to Hamano) + fontcache key  together installed in programdata . Using the fwb block setting  blocking adguard.exe and adguardsvc.exe  only to  2 ip address -  tested and working.

Updates  is ok - filters can be updated nil for issues at the moment.  Program can be updated to latest version  6.0 to 6.1 but needs to close adguardsvc.exe before updating to later build.

Procedure for the workaround is ok.   The Key point after is restoring the service back --> PREMIUM!

 

For knowledge, i can now used the old bl key u gave me last year...  i've re animated it back to premium, booted my laptop and still holding as i have the adguard.db with the fontcacheev.dat along before as backup. now using a different key.  thanks a bunch mate.  Using the fwb method as no issues so far.

 

Adguard.db & fontcacheev1.dat   --->  this seems to be the only file needed for every key.

 

if comfortable with host block method.  try this only setting

Plus i also paid for my copy, so.....im gonna take my word over yours as a pirate...apparently being a pirate turns you into an expert who can tell someone with 35+ years of IT experience theryre wrong, all from the position of a fanboy - probably because youre getting something for free....im pretty sure in the real world no one considers the opinions of thieves over someone who doesnt steal...
