straycat19
The problem is there are a lot of things that can cause a 1400 error. It can be a program you installed, uninstalled, or became corrupted. It can be because a dll became unregistered or is missing. It can also be caused by a corrupt registry. Your best solution is to do a rollback. If that doesn't work then if you know you have uninstalled some software try reinstalling it. If you have installed a program recently, try reinstalling it running the installer in 'run as administrator'. You might be able to get a clue from your event logs. I would take a look at them first since the error should be listed there and it might point to the cause.
