slowrolls
New guy around here. I've been away from a lot of stuff for a few years and I've lost touch with the community. I'm looking for some obscure niche files. Some of the top picks would be Krypto 500, Krypto 1000, Hoka Code, and W-Code. These are for using on radio decoding on HF. Not a lot of people are interested in that. Any help would be appreciated. S.
46&2
you can use BTDigg (is the BitTorrent DHT search engine.) to find some of what you seek. The main site is down but good mirror is btdig.com. I searched for "Hoka Code" and came up with some txt files. You may have to try several times for the files depending on seeders being online or not. If you want ": obscure niche files" BTDigg is a great place to start. Another great source for obscure niche files is Usenet, but thats another whole "ball of wax". Good Luck and welcome to nsane! NB: another great place is forums such as nsane. There are people here who can help you find things, hell some members here can even author meds for a specific solution or generic too! Anyways I assume that is partly why you signed here. And again good luck in your search.
slowrolls
Hi 46&2, What I know about these programs is they are all very expensive and almost impossible to ever find. Hoka Code starts at $8,000 and goes up in price quickly for necessary add-ons. Same for the others. The only thing I've heard from those in the hobby is that they are out there, cracked to run dongle free, and on Russian FTP sites. Nobody shares and nobody talks about them, so I'm assuming everyone has to fend for themselves. Another possibility is they were available as torrents or whatever for a short time and went underground quickly. Btdig.com wouldn't open. This is a good site. Good feel to it, etc. People seem friendly too. You guessed right about why I signed in. Thanks for the help. (edited for spelling)
