Win10 LTSB no store=no metro apps right?? App just auto-installed anyways!

Decided to try LTSB and was impressed with the speediness of it and simplicity. I used Group Policy and turned off telemetry and auto-updates and really liked the no metro apps and no store to stay running checking for updates to the apps. I play a bit on xbox one and come back to my laptop and low and behold there sits XBox One smartglass in recently installed and fully functional as if the store downloaded it. How is this possible without the store??

hi,

LTSB is for Long Term Servicing Branch, and if you are running this edition that means you are under contract license with Microsoft:

And it's only in Enterprise mode. So as I understand you want to install an App without the Store, right ?

If yes, you can by diffusing apps through deployment system like SCCM or Intune, like an Enterprise context.

Or you can with an Azure Store, managed by your Enterprise.
