Thanks for the info. Would you mind share the link of that addons you're referring...?

I'm using this one

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/pop-up-control/?src=api

But i think e10s break it,  a lot addons  will be broke once they force e10s on everyone  and i may will never update Firefox again once they force that on me  ,,

I thought they already implemented the e10s on v48?

BTW.. the "Pop-up Controller" really works. I though I have all the ads blocker installed. Again.. thank you so much for this. ^_^

Either that add-on cant be improved or it is no longer being developed any more as it hasn't been updated since March 2015.

This addons might get you interested https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/popup-blocker-ultimate/

I find it more effective compared to "Pop-up Controller". Lots of features and also the dev is active on developing this addon.

I don't pay mind to that  i had updates to break things  many times in Firefox  and have to  use a older version  as long as it works is all matters to me :)

It's not beta... It's Extended Support Release... It's stable. And the latest ESR version for unsigned addons...

Does that mean that any ESR versions of FF supports the installation of unsigned add-on´s ?!

Yeah... But as I said earlier, 45 is the latest... Next ESR will be 50, if I'm not wrong...

Whats up with new versions  of this addon?  v6.1 and up   you have too  use cookies  to there site or something to get rid of the annoying message in the newtab  only way i figured out how get rid of it is use  New Tab Override and set it too about blank or something besides default .
