Use ChipGenuis to detect Chip Vendor and Part Number.

Quote
  • Now Bring your corrupted USB flash disk and Download Chip Genius from this link "Chip Genius Software 2014 " ,connect your corrupted usb stick to your computer .
  • Open Chip Genius software and insert your USB pen drive , Once you connect the flash drive ,Chip genius will detect Flash information .Now the important parameters in the Chip genius report for us is three things :
  1. VID , PID
  2. Chip Vendor
  3. Chip Part-Number

  • If the Chip genius detect the flash drive information correctly , You will get Chip vendor ,Chip Part- Number so we can repair the USB stick by Update firmware ,this means a software solution .But Sometimes Chip genius report doesn't show chip vendor ,chip part number or write unknown , in this way there is a hardware solution to make the flash drive recognized by computer and chip genius then use the software  "we will discuss it after finishing the software part ".

You did not read the instructions carefully.

I know you are looking for shortcuts but it will only delay you more and might cause further damage to your USB.

Fixing this kind of thing is hard, need lots of patience, should read, understand and follow the instruction carefully.

This is either a hit or miss thing. Success is low.

But if you manage to fix it, then congrats, you are now one of the very few people who successfully manage to fix a corrupted USB firmware.

If you still fail to get Part-number from ChipGenuis then try this :showoff:

39 - How to repair your USB Flash drive

3. The Chip Vendor and Part-Number is the bit we need to find out. In my case I can see that the Intenso Rainbow USB Flash drive has a USBest UT165 flash memory controller chip.

If it does not identify the Part-Number, you will have to take the flash stick apart and read the very small print on the controller chip.

USBSTICK_PCB.jpg
The controller chip is smaller than the memory chip(s) on the other side
and usually has a small metal cylindrical can (a crystal) next to it.

Russians are really really good at computers,

Americans , Europeans and even those in North African country (I hope that is his real country not a vpn) are legends in cracking stuff.

There is one in Germany too (I hope that is his real country not a vpn), he's black in avatar, but he's one the great legends.

(Those I didn't mentioned, I'm sorry, I admire you but I know only so little of you, I am following you. Yes, those cracking IDM are legends too!)

So, we almost have many kinds of legends here who are good in their respective field but never heard of a chinese from china, taiwan, singapore, hongkong, thailand, malaysia that are good in computer.

China is good in pirating stuff but never cracking and hacking stuff,

They can do some reverse engineer on some products but, of course, you know why you shouldn't buy pirated poor copy no brand-USB (china-made)..

Believe me as I got a chinese blood but I don't live in those countries but I know a lot of them pirating stuff.

They just download crack stuff by the legends from internet, burn to dvd and bluray and selling it as their own.

You'll now it by reading .NFO files in them and some pics, notes and a suffix in files name giving hints who crack them.

The legends sometimes visits us here on nSane.

Flash disc are like ssd disc too.

They are different and work different from a hard disc.

They have a firmware inside them just like your motherboard, routers, network card, smartphones.

Since you already have done rooting and flashing your smartphone and probably using freemium (free) internet by changing your router's or usb dongle's MAC address, those are some hacking basic stuff, you got a skill to fix this USB.
