Togijak
I know the way to backup Firefox by copy the profile folder but I cant use this way. The reason is, that I want to use the "Create PDF extension" from Acrobat DC but that dos not work. The way to rename the WCFirefoxExtn folder also don't work. The AddOn is not showing like this https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/enable-createpdf-extension-firefox.html If I start a portable Firefox I get = it should work also in the installed Firefox I think the only way is to uninstall Firefox and clean all settings and do a new clean installation but I am to lazy to download all AddOns again = where are the AddOns (I want to restore only this folder) stored? Kalju
Firefox doesn't have any such a folder, which name is "AddOn". Even haven't ever had. Firefox has a folder "extension", some years ago had also folder "Plugins". So maybe You want to know, where are extensions stored? If so, then find out Your Firefox profile data and there it is. But remember, this not the only one, some extensions uses additional folders, for example such as folder "jetpack" etc. Firefox user profile may be stored where ever You want, by default it is%AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\..... WALLONN7
Ccleaner > tools > browser addons > Firefox Addons backup can be done with FEBE Acrobat addon cannot be backup with FEBE
JimmySvert
You can use about:support command in firefox and use extension ID (if extension is installed in your firefox) to search it on your computer. I think that for installed versions, extensions' path is: %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Extensions\ or ...\Firefox\browser\extensions and for portable paf versions: FirefoxPortable\Data\profile\extensions. Also, did u try to tick the box to enable the plugin? Do what's described here if plugin isn't working: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-add-on-is-disabled-in-firefox-43-or-higher.html Ensure that the plugin/ folder names and path are as described below: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\Browser\WCFirefoxExtn\META-INF Open the META-INF folder and ensure you have three files as follows: manifest.mf mozilla.rsa mozilla.sf

CC only show a list = it is only useful to remember all addons. The real reason for this question was my online situation = I have to save bandwide where ever I can (daily limit 300 MB) but I've decided to download the addons again after the clean installation of Firefox. One more reason to use it... Addons aren't updated every week nor even every month... No real bandwidth problem in that case... With backup always at hand, better... GlacialMan
I use the Fuken's portable version (obviously PAF), the plugins are stored in the following folders \FirefoxPortable\Data\Plugins (for 32-bit systems/versions) \FirefoxPortable\Data\Plugins64 (for 64-bit systems/versions) To have/update a plugin as, for example, Flash Player, you can use Fuken's/Dave's version, that is available in HandyPAF blog. There is no reason to do so, because Firefox update is independent of any add-ons or extensions.
