hakah
"Help to enable USB working" : I have newly installed Kaspersky Total Security 2016. There is no USB being detected by it after insert of an USB. How can we enable it to show its details and work as normal as it should be. Is there any steps I should do to enable it to work in Kaspersky Total Security? Thanks for the assistance!
WALLONN7
Incorrect removal of previously installed products can lead to a loss of USB ports functionality upon installation of the new version. To resolve this issue, follow the steps below: Download the Kaspersky Removal Tool to your Desktop. To run Kaspersky Removal Tool, double-click the file you have downloaded on your Desktop. When the application opens, select Kaspersky Total Security 2016. If this option is not available, fill in the Security Code displayed and click "Remove" to remove the current installed version first, then restart the computer. Run this Removal Tool again, then choose Kaspersky Total Security 2016 from the drop-down list. Fill in the Security Code that is displayed. Click Remove. When prompted, restart the computer. After the computer restarts, the USB functionality should be restored. Then, reinstall it agaIn.
lurch234
Always, always do a backup of your system before installing anything that can mess with it like avs, vpns, microsoft updates etc!! Last year I installed a dumb video tool from a giveaway and for some unknown reason it messed with my browsers custom appearance after I uninstalled said tool! You just never know. hakah
WALLONN7 :Thanks for the guidelines given to resolve the issue if happened again . It is very lucky that everthing goes fine after system reboot which the reason is unknown. Will you please provide me the download link for Kaspersky Removal Tool as the link shown Page 404 not found. Please advise how I can set exclusion list for www.nsaneforums.com on Kaspersky Total Security as the site is prohibited on no authenticate certificate. Another thing is : it block the linkage of my P2P (Thunder) to internet . Hope you can help to have those problems solved. Many thanks!! lurch234 : Thanks for the given advice! hakah
Kalju : I just don't know the cause and no response of USB just happened after the newly installed of Kaspersky Total Security. Whenever I address to www.nsaneforums.com, warning message appears with no authenticate certificate. It recommends you to cancel but I select continue. This rarely happens and this is the first time I face with this problem. No such thing happen with Opera. AlienForce1 : thanks for the download link. TL;DR: click Continue
Administrator DKT27 Posted November 7, 2016 Administrator Share Posted November 7, 2016 Do not use HTTPS on forums. Clear cache and use non-HTTPS version. HTTPS version is broken in IPB and should not be used here.
hakah
Furthermore, Kaspersky Total Security blocks the linkage of my P2P (Thunder) to internet and so the login of account is not successful. Can any member help to advise which path of the said exe can be edited into the Exclusion List to enable Thunder to resume work as normal . Many thanks!!
