IronY-Man
Hi Guys, Im pretty new here so if this not the right section for the post then forgive me & I request to admin pls. move it to its rightful place. So the issue is that I recently installed ESET SS v9 on a Win 10 (x64) and started to notice that even highly seeded MS Office16 ISO's and some other torrents were only getting 2-3 kbps down-speed and vice-versa whereas the same torrent file on Win 7(x32) with AVG didnt suffer from such throttled speeds. I've already added the firewall exceptions for utorrent for in ESET for IN/OUT connections and added all possible exceptions required for utorrent in ESET SS but it didnt worked as thought & there's section under Network option in ESET in which it displays the Connected Devices (below blacklisted IP-addresses option) and such.....in it displays list of different IP's still blocked....which I assume are definitely utorrent peers addresses. So I'm asking is there is a way to keep ESET SS and resolve this remedy ?? ; & please dont suggest to move back to AVG because the reason I ditched it cos its a memory hogger, 3 or 4 times more than ESET ! LittleDude
I don't recall ESET ever affecting torrenting on my system. Is it the only major change to your system?
PrEzi
No effect on me. Reaching 21MB/s with ESET SS v9 on my 200Mbit connection with most of the private trackers.

psyko666
I had the same problem with private torrent sites and ESET, ditched it and now using Norton Security 2016 without any problems..
Holmes
I have used private torrent sites and Im using eset no problems here you people are doing something wrong. I am also using eset NODthirtytwo version eight right now (I havent upgraded to nine yet). If your having problems with eset and private torrent sites disable SSL TLS scanning like jcvo said and exempt the site from url scanning.
