Replacing "Regedit.exe" in Win10 - How...???

There has been no end of problems in the Win10 Anniversary 1607 update,, lots in the registry too, but I noticed that Regedit.exe ran very well.. Just yesterday I made the decision to restore an older C:Drive image pre the update. Now things are running very sweetly once again, however, like I already knew, Regedit.exe in this older Win10 1511 build 10586.164 has known faults and does not run that well. I saved the new Regedit.exe from 1607 but cannot overwrite the existing earlier version in \SysWOW64\ folder.. I get "Access denied" when I try. I should know how to do this but Win10 has some funny rules.. The Win10 v1607 regedit (v10.0.14393) ran perfectly, so I want it...

Can anyone help here...???

SOLVED...!!!

No, to be honest I have never tried getting full control over a file. The registry - Yes,, but never a file. It must be a similar event - right..??

Edit later... Messed with ownership/permissions and got it, although I did find that using Total Commander 32 bit wouldn't let me copy & overwrite it, but TC x64 did...

Cheers 'n' thanks
