Administrator DKT27 Posted August 8, 2009 Administrator Share Posted August 8, 2009 Can someone guide me to this program properly? I have used it once but don't remember how it was. Is it better than MS Office? I don't want a money factor on this, but total overview.
Boshnaq
as much as i would love for OO to be better than MS Office, frankly it is not. maybe for some particular uses it is better but from personal experience MS Office just has so much more to offer. Atasas
for starters 20% of M$ office features are ever used, even by advanced users, then there is an issue of size of programs, then there are some extremely good features (ie save in PDF or M$ office 2000)When I have been using it on a really big M$ formula database- it had proven itself being a whole load faster/ less resource consuming than M$ O Downsides in my view- it takes about a day to experienced M$ O user to learn slightly different way feature layout etc on OO
