Unleash the hidden performance of your computer with the minimum effort. O&O Defrag Professional Edition packs file fragments quickly and securely back together to optimize your hard disk under Windows. Its functionality ranges from a fully automated defragmentation to an individual professional set up. It can do everything a truly good defragmentation software should be able to do. The new background monitoring function helps to prevent fragmentation at source. Newly added and modified files are analyzed and defragmented whenever they are not being accessed. O&O Defrag makes sure that your hard disk is constantly performing at its peak.

Thanks to ARMOUR for the update.

wait a few weeks and you can get 100% off. O&O must be the only company to release a newer version of its programs and give a discount on release date...

The discount code is three (3) years old, not on release date.

Waiting for medicine ... Plzzz! :)

Why do you dream for it so much? This is a program, that almost no one not using for several years and that is why there is not any medical or other assistance to expect.
Such  programs as Defrags, as they still has been, time is gone for now, they were useful, but now, when SSD is used every day more and more, they are absolutely useless, even dangerous, if they are a bit old and trying defragment SSD drives.

There is little hope, however, You can hope and wait.

Maybe you can argue that Windows 10 makes defrag less important, but your remark about SSD is not true for O&O Defrag. It has a Trim function for SSD.

O&O Defrag supports SSD optimization under all current Windows Versions

  • How are these things related to Windows 10, I do not understand.
  • What is the SSD, should to know, before begin to speak.
  • And if you really do not know, SSD drive is not possible in any way to defragment. You just can not be force to go an electron to such energy levels, what you like.
  • Try to read a little the atomic physics, if you get the chance.

The difrence from HDD´s is that SSD´s support Trim. And it is an attribute of the ATA Set management command and allows the operating system to inform the SSD of to be deleted blocks. It will tell the device what blocks are safe to remove. So you are free to choose any third party defrag or any disk care program of you´re choice as long it supports TRIM.

Some say the onboard defrag is good enough in Windows 10. I just run O&O Defrag automated for all devices so I would not know. :)

O&O does not claim to defrag SSD, so there is no issue. I like to read about physics so who knows.

http://www.extremetech.com/extreme/210492-extremetech-explains-how-do-ssds-work

All SSD drives already have their own built in controllers, which monitor the energy levels so that all are used evenly and have the same number re written (re activated). It all is necessary to prolong the lifetime of the crystals and the SSD drive can to work optimally. And when the time comes, in which all resources are exhausted, then the whole SSD drive stops working, not only some region like it is possible, if using HDD.
