I have to agree with Holmes. Programs make unknown changes to your system and there is no one solution fits all when it comes to Windows. If you manually make adjustments to the OS and keep track of what you do then you can easily undo them or repeat them on other systems. And above all you know exactly what you have changed. If you uninstall such tools, they'll barely undo changes or remind you to do so, leaving you with a tinkered OS that can make future problems. Tools are handy but risky.
