ajdibi
Currently I use software called SMSCaster to send messages to about 50 people each week using a mobile phone. The mobile phone is connected by bluetooth as a COM port - this means an old Nokia is used, but it's perfectly adequate for the job it needs to do. My problem is with SMSCaster - I find it clumsy and it isn't easy to show less computer literate people how to use it. I have looked on Google, but I cannot find a suitable alternative. The closest I can find is using SMSLibX from Access, but this isn't ideal. I'd really like to be able to type a name or phone number in and the database finds the contact as you type. Press Enter and it sends the message instantly, or puts it in the outbox to be sent in a batch. I hope somebody can help me, but if you need more information or clarification let me know. lazzser
Hi, I know you mean text messages (SMS), but maybe you could consider using Telegram. I use it to send notifications about the status of Linux servers, it works very well and It´s free. https://telegram.org/blog/bot-revolution
ajdibi
The problem with the above apps is that they won't go on an old Nokia C2-01 phone.
