I forgot to say that my old machine is x64 architecture and my new one is a 32 bit machine so no I don't think it works.

Easy Way = go to Options ant there to Import / Export

and export. Open this file in text editor

and delete everything without the Password part. You can import this settingfile on the new mashin. 100% working (tested in 2 different VM)

Archives passwords are stored in Registry : [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\WinRAR\Passwords]

To save your list, just export this Reg key and then export it everywhere you need it.

What's the problem with this version? Inside the window, there is not a column for the "Modified" date view. Neither is there an option to customize the columns. Is this always like this or only my problem? Can anybody explain?

Go to Options - File List - check on Details.

Even that did not solve it. In fact, my winrar is already set like you suggested. But the problem persists. Any other idea?

The problem is gone only after an uninstallation and a reinstallation. A download from the winrar.com was the culprit, I suppose. Another from the rarlab.com did good.
