Can someone comment about how useful this software is in Windows 10 as compared with previous versions of Windows?

I was wondering about that myself TheEmpathicEar. I have never tried it in any version of windows. Heard some bad things about it so decided to bypass it. But below are some of the features in Win 10 that may sway me to have a look:

(but moving system folders to safe locations sounds like a disaster waiting to happen, especially when MS updates the O\S)

Customization

Customizes system parameters according to your preferences by tweaking File Explorer, Desktop, Start, Taskbar and Notification area; Adds files, folders and system items to This PC, and Desktop; Pins the files or folders to your Desktop, Taskbar or Start; Creates the quick startup items for jumplist on Taskbar; Manages the context menu when right click the file, folder, etc; Edits the shortcut menu that right-click Start button (Win + X shortcut); Customizes the look of your system; Edits and adds the shortcuts that executed on Run dialog box; Tweaks the Windows Apps and Microsoft Modern UI settings.

Security

Tweaks system, components, UAC, Sign in settings, adjusts various settings and restricts access to drives and programs to improve system security; Safeguard your sensitive files and folders security, encrypt files, move system folders to safe locations; Privacy Protector ensures privacy and keeps sensitive information secure by eliminating tracks; File Undelete recovers and restores deleted or formatted files on logical disks; Locks some system features to improve security.

One thing is for sure don't disable uac with it it will cause VM and some other programs not too run and only way to fix it is reinstall windows. this software has very  little documentation so be careful of witch settings you check . I use to use it  back when on Windows 7 and vista.  since it has its own portable  i put on my portable  HHD  and registered  it just because i can and dont have to install it. :P

[ Windows 10 Anniversary Edition is here ] Does anyone wonder if this software version has been updated to work with this latest version of Windows 10? Or, does it matter?

  1. absolutely indispensable, none of similar do not exist.
  2. is not in any way dangerous

it is a set of tools, and You can use this tool, what you currently need, it isn't any kind of optimizing which runs automatically and You have nothing to select what to do.
Never not needed to use all of them, it isn't mandatory.

you must not run vm then?  this program caused me to have too reinstall windows before. i  really dont see how its very useful for anything that i dont already tools for .. Most any tweaks is free  public knowledge and at lest if you apply them by hand you know how to reverse them . But even truing  on UAC and going into BIOS and retesting what it does when you turn off UAC  wont fix the vm from not running because i tired and it still would not run

There isn't any tool that would do something itself. Only opens the place or the opportunity and everyone should to decide what he/she will do.

And if it opens the place (which is available on Windows by default), then it isn't though not in any way dangerous.

Dangerous is that, which located between the two ears.

Yes not having better sense than to run registry cleaners and various settings that this program offers  can make it dangerous .  As long as i dont use it its not dangerous at all . Most people like to experiment i use too and this snake oil can do things you cant reverse without a fresh install.  I stop disabling uac and using registry cleaners years ago. after the fact i got over im not on  XP anymore . :)

If you're PC runs like crap, just reinstall windows and if still runs bad, there is no magic cure you will have to live with it  or buy better hardware or a better PC. :P

Registry Cleaner, which is included there, gives You absolutely all to select, what to clean and what not. Makes always backup etc. And also if some one don't know, what is needed to clean and what not, not needed use it and never not needed to do if You don't know how, what etc You exactly doing.
There isn't any such tool, which makes something, if You don't want do it. User
decides itself all.

Of course, you want to argue that the hammer is dangerous because can make hurt. But the hammer will not hurt you, but you doing itself. There is a big difference.
Thus, none of the hammer, which is home, is not dangerous for you.

So, it's my last here. If don't wan't, never not needed.

it will hurt my pc witch will cause me mental anguish  when i have too reinstall windows after it breaks something there's more than one kind of pain . I use to upload and tested all this crap every day i use too have too reinstall about once a month.

Since i  stop uploading and testing all this crap the only time i have too install anything is because i want too, like to test a new OS or something . Not because these snake oil tuneup products offering you magic beans  blow my shit up! So no this product dont offer you nothing you really have to have .

I have a pc over here that came with Vista i in the 1st decade of this century I upgraded  to Windows 7  only kind of maintenance tools I've installed on it is CC Cleaner i dont use the registry cleaner part no way, its never been cleaned installed ever and  it still runs just fine 7 years latter . that tells me something.
