With a best-in-class feature set, revolutionary ease-of-use, and none of the traditional pains associated with free PDF software, Nitro Reader does everything you ever wanted in a PDF reader, the way you've always wanted to do it.

To everyone praising this software and favoring it over Foxit Reader, I must say that although it doesn't include the extra crap that foxit now does, it also has the AWFUL ribbon interface...

So, in terms of inteface it's more or less the same.

To be honest, if we are going to look at experience of user then *ALL* PDF readers suck. One feature I missed for years is smooth scrolling. I get so frustrated with terrible scrolling with PDFs, and one would think it can't be done since not a single PDF reader supported it, until browsers started supporting it. Now I mostly read PDFs in Edge, it smooth scrolls and is fast. Unfortunately UI sucks, but there is no perfect reader yet. My backup reader is SumatraPDF portable.

if you install the Nitro Pro version found in software updates here it contains a whole lot more than Foxit Reader does at around the same install requirements. Foxit Reader is bloatware
