vissha
For more info on error code: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2700530 There should be some prerequisite KBs to be installed before SP1. Make sure that it gets installed automatically. If you miss the prerequisites, it'll be a failed installation at rare cases even if you try using standalone installer. Recruit
Hi friend, My tip is not to waste your time with it. Use this tool to download Windows 7 with Service Pack 1 integrated. Then you can install the Convenience Rollup Update ( kb3125574 ) Have a nice day ! PS . I cannot reply very fast, I am in vacation, in Rio . Still struggling to update the SP1 file for Windows 7. I decided that is easy to try to repair window 7 (not install). My question, I downloaded and have a DVD with Window 7 Home Premium. When run the setup, the first option that appears is install Windows 7, not repair. For what I have read so far this is going to install Windows 7 and lost everything, unless I backup. My question how can I repair my Windows 7 Home Premium from a DVD with Window 7 in it. Is this possible? If not how I do it. Googled for it but not sure how to do it, please. Thanks for the help. I just wish to repair it only. Reason, the software installed. Other wise I have to buy a new one. Thanks for the link.
