guy's can u suggest me some sort of best video converter out there

i've already been using freemake but the movie goes unscale

i've already been using divx converter but it takes long time and 700mb of data become big 2gb more

what converter do u think does ETRG YIFY Shaanig used to convert movies?

reason : mkv always uploaded well its good because small size but quality does not loss

well my tv usb doesn't recognize the audio playing Matroska format

that's why i will convert MKV to Mp4 etc.

Both programs are lossy especially freemake crap!

If you're looking for an exact copy of your original files, there are lossless programs which will only switch containers

MKV and MP4 are containers only

The main video stream remains intact when switching formats ( MKV to MP4 or MP4 to MKV)

Topic marked as solved.

While jordan has given the proper answer. If you want my opinion about your original question, I think Xilisoft and the one you have chosen are better than all of them.

For the audio issue, switch between AC3 and AAC and see which format is working for your TV

Superfast cause he did almost nothing apart from switching containers

No recompression and no re-encoding

Excellent choice, but not in the category of lossless converters

Still difference is hardly noticeable on some TV's when files were effectively recompressed with a good program like Xillisoft or Handbrake (Depends on several parameters)

  • 2 weeks later...

For anyone wanting to convert MP4 to MKV very quickly and lossless (I think) Metafox (freeware) is outstanding. I use it all the time as sometimes while watching MP4s on my LG TV it will bomb out (particularly on longer MP4s).

MetaFox 1.4.3  has updated support for HEVC content! Metafox is a simple to use video file converter. The installer places a shortcut on your desktop. You drag n drop a file or even an entire folder onto the shortcut and it will create an MKV using the original audio/video/subtitles.
