Peerblock Discontinued?

The homepage for Peerblock redirects to their forum and there aren't links to download the program that I could find. Is this normal? Should I use an alternative? Is the program so dead that I shouldn't use it anymore?

I guess @RobrPatty can answer this. The download link is still working though.

As of now PeerBlock is on hold. The original author is tided up with current employment with no time for further development. But has not given up on the project yet.

It also won't update via iblocklist any more.  No free subscriptions.  You need to pay $9 per year as far as I recall.

AdGuard does same thing and if you can find the link to download the 6month free old version it updates to latest version fine.  Works for me anyhow, I doubt I go 6 months without a fresh install of windows... so its a perpetual freeware for me until they ban that old version.

They have a 1yr free referral license which isn't hard to get if you find a buzy forum to post it in.  Only need 4 users for one week.

I don't use Adguard on my computer.

So, is it possible to use the iBlocklist Filters in AdGuard? Not at my system right now just curious if it covers all of the same areas as PeerBlock..

I don't know how that would be possible since--as it seems--the iBlocklist Filters require money. :(

So is this a pointless app? If so, what are the alternatives? How can I know if IP Filter Downloader 1.1 works with the latest version of qBittorrent?
