PistalPete
Sigh... thanks Microsoft Windows 10. Was backing up a DVD today with DVDFab v9.2.3.9 (I don't update DVDfab until a disk can't be backed up) when the message below popped up. I couldn't insert the disk without it being ejected immediately by (windows) File Explorer. Therefore couldn't back up the disk. Thought it was DVDFabs fault so upgraded to the latest. Still no joy. After a little research, turns out this is a big problem with Microsoft updates borking DVD rom drivers. Of course the solutions were to clean install windows, repair install windows, etc, etc., or to wait until Microsoft put out another update. If you run into this, believe me the easiest fix is to click windows icon (lower left of screen), settings, devices, autoplay and under removable drive, select take no action. Now you can wait for Microsoft to fix Windows 10 Thought I would share this in case it happens to someone else.....
