VirtualBox 5.1.2

Recommended Posts

VirtualBox is an application installed on an existing host operating system; within this application, additional operating systems can be loaded and run, each with its own virtual environment. For example, several Linux distributions can be hosted on a single machine running Windows XP; likewise, XP and Vista can run on a machine running Linux, and so on. There is a free for personal or evaluation use proprietary version and a GNU General Public License (GPL) version.

Thanks to BLAite for the update.

Things like this is how included malware gets on systems.  Whether the originator intentionally put it there or not is always the issue but avoiding repackaged software when there is no real need for it is one of the first defensive moves you can make to protect yourself from getting something bad.  It has to be a blanket security rule, no matter who, where or when, I don't download it.

Also don't talk about 'repacked software'. NOBODY asked you play hero & save us from ourselves. :mad2:

You are free to download it or not. You will never find malware or other harmful programs on my repacks, at least intentionally.

The intention is to make this repack AIO and can be installed in a silent mode, something that can not be done with the original installer (including Extension pack and Certificate).

Cheers... ;-)
