anuraag
ESET Smart Security offers advanced detection technologies and multi-layered security features. Designed for a low footprint, fast scanning, it packs security features and customization options for consistent and personalized security on- or offline. ESET Smart Security is built on ESET's unique heuristic technology that identifies viruses that have never been seen before. This enables them to protect your computer proactively, in real-time, against new viruses and cyber threats that conventional signature-based antivirus products don't catch. ESET Smart Security has all the same features as ESET NOD32 Antivirus with the addition of parental controls, antispam module, and an intelligent firewall. ajdibi
64-bit version of ESET Smart Security (ess_nt64_enu.exe) downloads as version 9.0.380.0. I have downloaded twice to eliminate any possibility of user error, but I still get 9.0.380.0. When I install using the latest download file, ESET tells me there is a newer version. SnakeMasteR
Doubt it, even if that would be the case, AV vendors will adapt and make it compatible again to keep their customers happy. That's what they get paid for after all. ?
AlienForce1
Today I received in application`s update 9.0.402.0 - maybe will be available to download in a few days on ESET`s download page .
TheEmpathicEar
[I hope this is the most up-to-date...] I will probably have to do a clean install of Windows 10 Anniversary Edition. I ask because I will have to reinstall ESS. Last year, I got a working key from someone, which, of course, I can not divulge. After I do a Clean Install of Windows 10 Anniversary, and I install ESS, should I expect this key to still work? Or, Is it possible to "backup" ESS activation, sort of the way U can backup Windows 10 activation?
kumishthunder
Eset Smart Security for Windows 10 Anniversary Edition, install using the ESET Live Installer. See http://support.eset.com/kb3747/.

See http://support.eset.com/kb3747/. Thx, but I am going to do a Clean Install of Windows 10 Anniversary Edition [because I tried to Upgrade and it failed - that's another story] So, this will be the same as installing a fresh copy of ESS. That is why I asked if my key will still work? Or, if it is possible to "backup" ESS activation. [I know you can backup settings, but I don't know if this includes activation? For example...]
