LOL   have  fun reinstalling windows .

 

My beta testing experience with antivirus .

1. Avast Beta Net framework stop working

2. NOD32  Windows updates stopped working.

3, Uninstalling Kaspersky beta botched my whole windows install were i had to reinstall windows .

4.  I'm not going to add one more antivirus  to that list Ive not touched a beta Antivirus in years.

I know what you are saying.  It is like I am a Masochist .  I was not going to do it his year.  I still may not.  I have everything running smooth.  I will wait until I get back from Vacation next month to decide.

Thats why you dont install a beta antivirus on your production computer or your main computer install it in a virtual machine likke Im about to do.

LOL , I  got better things too be testing like stable software  . All my stuff is production machines  , I switch back and forth to make my stuff last longer , I don't want to be shortening  the life of my machines . These companies get paid so much for every key My  mom just bought a new  Eset  Boxed version last night they can afford to pay people to test there software . Half the time you can find free giveaways too Bitdefender anyways  why would you need to test unstable.

REMOTE STARTUP OPTIMIZER

Unnecessary applications that slow down your device’s boot time can now be disabled or postponed directly from Bitdefender Central. Save valuable time with the new remote Startup Optimizer.

WI-FI SECURITY

• On Windows 7 when desktop scheme is non-aero (such as Classic scheme) windows are not repainting, nor are clickable
• Chrome extension might not be available
• Can’t navigate in the product’s Security Center (main interface) after opening some of the modal windows
• Startup Optimizer - community choice is currently not available
• Product Documentation hasn’t been updated to the new product version
• The new Device Management app is not protected
• Modules may be available on limited users, although they should not have rights
• In Bitdefender Safepay Paste button doesn't work in address bar
• Product uninstall may hang at 25%
• Anti-theft Locate may sometimes locate the device at a wrong address
• The photos in Snap Photo are not displayed accordingly when taken with a 1280 x 720 camera

• Time Machine Protection
  Protects your Time Machine backups from unauthorized and potentially dangerous changes done by other programs.

Known Bugs - Mac

When product uninstall fails, self-protect can’t be removed from Safe Boot, only from Recovery Mode

 

System Requirements - Mac

You may install Bitdefender Antivirus for Mac only on Intel-based Macintosh computers with OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5), OS X Mavericks (10.9.5) , OS X Yosemite (10.10 or later), or OS X El Capitan (10.11) installed.

 

Your Mac must also meet all of these additional requirements:

Minimum 1 GB of RAM memory;

Minimum 400 MB available hard disk space;

An Internet connection is required to register and update Bitdefender Antivirus for Mac;

TrafficLight is available for Safari, Firefox and Google Chrome.

I have it installed on my Laptop.  I think that the GUI is a lot nicer than the 2016 Version.
