virge
When Windows 7, 8 or 10 fails to repair it's own boot issues and bootrec from the command prompt doesn't work, is there an application to use to get around this ?
DrKash
When you have many problems about boot for example ,it's better to install a fresh copy . Make an image in future. Try Tweaking.com - Windows Repair in Repair chose n°26 and 27 http://www.tweaking.com/files/setups/tweaking.com_windows_repair_aio_setup.exe

Israeli_Eagle
Try to restore the system first and/or use the Windows DVD to repair.
TheMountain
I'd be careful using third party software for repairing Windows boot issue. The cure might be worse than the disease.

virge
Trying to help a friend recover a windows 8.1 non-bootable hard drive. Short of pulling the drive and making it a salve to copy the files off and reinstall the os, apps, etc. Been trying for 3 days now to fix the partition table, but all the apps and online tips have failed. I guess it's time to reformat and reinstall.
