Built with your security in mind, Firefox keeps your computer safe from malicious spyware by not loading harmful ActiveX controls. A comprehensive set of privacy tools keep your online activity your business. Thanks to Astron for the update.Download

luisam
If you have Firefox installed, the update to your proper configuration and OS version is readily avalable at HELP - About Firefox, pressing dialog box under corrent version number, which should say "Upgrade to 47.0,1"; you don't need to wait the notification from Fiirefox. I updated yeterday as soon as I saw this post about avaiabilty of this new release.
p4psb
When updated to this version from v47, all links from email takes over 8 seconds to load. This did not happen before update. Also, the email links if opened in another browser are fine. What could this be?

Kalju
I have not been able to find any 64-bit browser that is at least as stable and fast as a 32-bit analog. So I use also often 32-bit versions.
berra
Firefox 47.0.1 does not close down completely, must do it in the task manager. It happens now and then.

I generally find both x86 & x64 browers are slow until I change settings. I mostly turn off stuff.

This is not a Firefox problem but a problem with your system.
