mona Posted June 20, 2016 Share Posted June 20, 2016 I experienced a lot of problems with DRM-ed music rips of my legit CD's after my desktop motherboard had to be replaced. I would like to ensure the situation won't happen again after future hardware changes. That's why I'm looking for the software to be able to remove DRM from my CD rips. Considering lots of ripped audio/video stuff being uploded every single day on-line - I'm wondering why programs able to remove DRMs are not widely known (have you ever heard those names listed ?) ? Anyway there are no such popular programs like CloneCD or Alcohol 120% on those lists. Does it mean they won't work for me ? I'm not sure .... This is great for removing DRM (including the latest) also "fix" is available. Also if you want to use a media software you already have (like Nero etc) you can use software that act's like a driver in the background, it is called Passkey, info on this also on DVD Fab site. debebee Posted June 20, 2016 Share Posted June 20, 2016 also re the ts opening post, normally when you rip out the cd to flac or mp3, you get a drm free file.. if you get your files from itunes or amazon or Google play, you might encounter an occasional drm on the mp4.. One person gave such an explanation : Quote Redfox has stopped any version before 8.0.2.0 from decrypting discs. Therefore this version will not work. And there are probably no cracks for version 8... So what ?
