[IFVALUE]album artist,[album artist],[IFCOMP]Various Artists[][IF!COMP][artist][][]\[album]\[track] [artist] - [title]

is the default "CD Ripper Naming". I want to have my tracks like this: 01. AnySong.mp3. I don't want the artist or album name to be part of the track name.

U can change that 'setting' to the way u want your output in the CD Ripper. U do that under 'Naming' in the lower left corner of the CD Ripper UI.

It's best if you do this yourself. Here's how it's done...... Click on the 'Set' button on the right side of the 'Naming' area. Remove the text in the 'Base Location' box, then click on the 'Add Tag' button and under there so will u have all tags u need.

@DNM I hope other folks examine this. It's really very helpful. i.e. I thought you had to "know" the syntax in order to do this. But, I can see that this is a sort of WYSIWIG?

Yeah, it's a WYSIWIG solution on the Naming scheme and that's really nice.

Can I get DRM-free rips by using this software ?  If not - could you please advise me the right program to use ?

......................................................................................................................................................................

I experienced a lot of problems with DRM-ed music rips of my legit CD's after my desktop motherboard had to be changed.

I would like to ensure the situation won't happen again. That's why I would like to re-rip those CDs again, but with the software that is able to remove DRM forever.

Did you search Nsane forums for DRM removal software?

No, not yet.  But all rips available on-line are DRM-free  so the relevant software certainly do exist.

Maybe I need to create the separate thread for that.

Please create a new 'DRM Removal Software' topic. Hopefully you find a simple solution to your DRM issues.

@Stig  please don't share-code links to the official  HOMEPAGE !     :nono:

It's not the HOMEPAGE. It's the Versions page.

Get over it.

BTW

For those interested (@TheEmpathicEar) - here is NOT SHARECODED link to the versions comparison (FREE and pro, aka REFERENCE) on the official developer's site :   https://www.dbpoweramp.com//db-versions.htm/db-versions.htm

Seriously, if you don't know how a hyperlink works you need to have the internet confiscated.

If you create a link that when clicked on takes users directly to a software site, you are in effect creating a machine gun to slowly kill nsane - and this is happening.

Every click from users (and crawlers) will be registered at the destination site and these traces are sooner or later followed back to nsane where the author is like "wtf is this?"  This has no doubt contributed to this site receiving DCMA requests, so who loses? we all do!  Bottom line, please, please, please, either create links using sites like anonymz.com or use hxxp notation like hxxp://domain to force users to copy/paste the link into a web browser thus killing any possibility of a trace back link being added to the destination website's access logs.
