HandyPAF
So I've got both ISO images of Windows 7 Recovery Disk - one for 32-bit and one for 64-bit Since the ISO images are pretty small, I could (hypothetically) fit both ISOs onto one 700MB CD. I was wondering if anyone knew of a way that I could create a combined ISO. Then I could burn that ISO to a disk, pop it into any computer with Win7 and it would let me use the Recovery options. Basically, it's the same idea as creating a combined Win7 installer disk except I just want a combined Win7 Recovery Disk.
andy2004
well you could just use a 1gb flash drive... use Yumi and put both iso's on that. Copy the entire flashdrive onto the computer and then add all the folder into a dvd. then burn all

I've never done a lot of messing around with ISOs and whatnot so this is new territory for me. Thanks for the info, I will try it.

JoshCells had a wonderful program called WinAIO Maker Professional that is a portable program to do just that. It is still available for download from CNET. http://download.cnet.com/WinAIO-Maker-Professional/3000-2094_4-75605123.html

andy2004
note:: make sure to put a tick in the x64 box on the top left of WINAIO.. if you boot from the recovery in 32bit mode on a 64bit install os.. the recovery software wont run.. I think i said that wrong.... dont run the x64 from a x86 boot.. as it will treat it like a x86 instead of x64 and therefore it wont work... I read it somewhere.. basically you cant repair a x64 with a x86 recovery disc. and when you boot the x64 using a x86 it thinks its x86 not x64.
