All im saying is that when i updated my Avast AV, i got a small red window saying that i was using a pirated key. it also said that you have til July 31, 2009 to get a legit key. basically, the keygen isnt any good anymore. :frusty:

Well it had been working fine up until monday of this week....then i got a red box letting me know that the key was either a pirated or false key. And, that all updates will no longer work until you have an updated key. i used the keygen like 5 different times and when i reboot, the red box would appear.

The keygen mentioned on the frontpage is reported working.

That's not why I posted it. I posted it because the guy who started this thread in the first place mentioned that they were getting blacklisted. Maybe the keys from this keygen wouldn't.

Even if something is reported working I have every right to post another one. I've done it plenty of times & will continue to do so if I feel it's necessary...

This news about former keygenned keys stop working all of a sudden is suggested to have to do with some kind of server check introduced.

That XPLOSiON keygen is not new Rock Lee (.nfo says january 2009 :P )

I meant new to the site, not newly made :P

I'll change it to say "different" instead of new ;)

Another solution is to move to NOD32. If you still like Avast then you can use the medicine provided by Rock Lee.

@Rock Lee. My post was not aimed at your keygen but instead I thought that the author didn't tried the keygen listed on the frontpage. Even if he used it from there, I thought the staff would have fixed the broken one. So was just notifying.

If you don't get the proper serial untill 15 aug or after it, switch to the free version for sometime or use another AV.

I'd switch AV's anyway sele, Avast isn't the best out there. I recommend Avira, go here to get a free 90 day license key. Use 10 minutemail when the key runs out to get a new one ;)

Try ESET Nod32. It is the best I've had so far. ;)
