bruinator Posted May 1, 2016 Share Posted May 1, 2016 installed video drivers for asrock z170m extreme4 but not getting any audio from my speakers. Went into CP then sound and i can see speaker with green check mark on them and see increment bar going up and down when song is playing. Speaker jack is plugged into green port in back of mobo. Do you hear a 'ding' sound when you click the volume slider on the notification area? Do your sound device on 'device manager' show working properly? jbleck Posted May 1, 2016 Share Posted May 1, 2016 if u only installed the video drivers then u probably should use the HDMI connection? if u want to use the speaker jack then u need the audio driver or u need to set that as the default playback device.
