I've accidentally deleted a folder in my wireless WD My Cloud and would be grateful if anyone could suggest a way to recover it. I've read the concerned forum and follow the suggestions (except those using Linux which L don't have any knowledge) ; but to no avail. Thank you in advance. I think it is because windows does not recognize the EXT4 partition type (I read this from the forum of WD My Cloud). Anyway, thank you very much. franco46 Posted April 27, 2016 Author Share Posted April 27, 2016 Report :- Both CleverFiles Disk Drill Pro v1.0.0.188 Portable & Active@ File Recovery Extreme (demo) cannot detach WD My Cloud. Only Piriform Recuva Technician Edition can detect My Cloud and read the folders therein though its "OK" button becomes dim and is not able to do any file recovery. Thank you for all.
