Stardock is the best (imho)! They have a long experience with windows features replacements and enhancements!

Windows 8 or 8.1, maybe, windows 10, why bother, I just set the start menu to the way I want it. In win 10 the start menu is actually better that windows 7.

I been using cracked  software since the early 2000s  and nothing ever happened to me . That's reality, real malware serves a purpose to make a profit.  no one makes  malware for fun these days if  dont call home to collect info its not real malware . Many free programs  are more like malware than cracks are .  You got any proof of this crack injecting into the svchost ?

Nothing harmful with those programs. Windows is using svchost.exe to run their Dlls and explorer.exe to integrate them in the shell!

@DASHIT77 - have you ever heard of false-positives when it comes to cracked software, cracks, patches and keygenerators? Because that's what they are (false-positives)

I wouldn't know i never tested none of these but StartIsBack++ CRD  scene release years ago and after awhile and the serial  stop working .So i switched to Classic Shell  and never looked back because I dont need no fix failing  on me on windows 8.1 when I needed  a start menu . Besides you can download skins  for Classic Shell  and make it look how ever you want. If things can replaced for free and work fine im not  going bother using cracked software . In Windows 10  i just used  the one that  came with it .
